AZGIRATH - THE METAL STATUE (PROJECT)
I am Azgirath (Creator of The Metal Statue & Udûn Metal) and I'm the First Living Metal Statue Worldwide (Metal Scene). This project started from the streets (2021), and Metal was the main inspiration behind this. Azgirath is my Artist name, and the first name for this figure. I also added a title (The Metal Statue) and a name for this Performance (Udûn Metal) to clearly define what it represents. There was no figure known as The Metal Statue, no defined presence within the metal scene that merged performance, identity, and symbolism in this way. Entering this role meant facing uncertainty, resistance, and personal struggle. It places me within the metal scene not only as an artist, but as a symbol, standing for artistic freedom, courage, and expression.
Honoring Extreme Metal (Performance Art)
Extreme Metal started in the early 80s from bands like Venom, Celtic Frost, Bathory, Mayhem, and someday I was inspired by this genre to create something for the Scene as well. This Performance is called Udûn Metal or Udûn Metal Performance Art and it's based on the Art itself. It might be paradox for some because this is not about music or being in a band, it's about Silence. I created this project because the scene should get the opportunity to see Metal in a different way and to realize it's more than Music, it's much deeper than you think.
“I’m Azgirath, The Metal Statue. And I want to leave something in this world. It is my burden to honor Metal and the Scene.”
Udûn Metal
Specific: Udûn Metal Performance Art
(Wraith Metal Performance Art)
Performance (Name): Udûn Metal or Wraith Metal
Alias: Black Metal or Extreme Metal Performance Art

Udûn Metal is a performance inspired by the aesthetics, philosophy, and spirit of extreme metal. In this performance, the artist stands for hours in silence, embodying the archetype of Death. It's a Transition between two worlds.
Honoring Extreme Metal through the highest form of Performance. Endurance is the Essence of Art.
NO BAND - NO SOUND - NO COMFORT
Project by Azgirath (2021)
“This is a ritual and performance rooted in silence, time, and death. Worship death because it's the meaning of life.”
